The pooch is fast and fur-ious! When the dog got behind the wheel, the driving was a tad different from everyday motorists. How? Well, the very good boy took its owner’s car for a spin around the cul-de-sac. Port St. Lucie Police Department in Florida shared the video on Facebook, showing the pooch’s driving skills. Honestly, the pet’s driving ability is much like a human. Although, the driver here, accidentally put the vehicle in reverse which led the car to take circles for an hour. But as the video went viral, people cannot stop talking about the Florida dog trapped in the car. Just like the witnesses and police officials, the netizens are stunned. So here is what happened! According to the police department, the owner of the car made a wrong turn into the cul-de-sac. He stopped the vehicle, stepped out and accidentally closed the door with the pooch inside. Meet Max, a black Labrador who mistakenly hit the shifter into reverse, sending the owner’s Ford Taurus for a spin. It circled the dead-end for nearly an hour, until the police arrived at the scene. “As the car circled the cul-de-sac, it struck and damaged a mailbox. The owner provided police with an extra car fob, however it was inoperable due to a dead battery, so police gained access by approaching the car and entering the code on the key pad located on the driver side door,” writes the Police Department on their Facebook post.

It might look a little hilarious, yet adorable for the pooch to go merry-go-round, but we are thankful that no injuries were reported. The Police officials assured that Max is fine, healthy and happy. The car sustained minor damage. At the beginning of the year, “Florida Man” became an internet in-joke and meme referencing bizarre news stories starring male residents in the US state. But they just got to cheer their new “Florida Dog,” Max.
