A recent Instagram post that is doing the rounds on the internet poses serious questions about gender parity and struggles of a father. A 31-year-old father of three, Donte Palmer is based out of Florida and he spurred the internet with various debates. Recently, his elder son clicked him changing diapers of his youngest boy in the men's restroom. Donte with his family had visited the Texas Roadhouse where he went on to the restroom to get his diaper changed along with his 7-year-old son. And as usual, there was no changing room in the men's washroom due to which he squatted to change his son's diaper of which his elder son took pictures of.

Once they went back to their table they didn't give too much of a thought about it and only later out of their discussion it occurred to his wife that she and other women don't have to go through all of this. Soon Donte posted the picture with a strong message and an empowering hashtag. Here's what he wrote, 'This is a serious post!!! What’s the deal with not having changing tables in men’s bathroom as if we don’t exist!! #FLM #fatherslivesmatter clearly we do this often because look how comfortable my son is. It’s routine to him!!!! Let’s fix this problem! I Kaepernick drop a knee to this issue! @theshaderoom let’s show the innovation of fathers! #squatforchange'

Here's the Post-

The #squatforchange has become a movement now and men everywhere are posting pictures of them squatting and changing the diapers of their kids in hope that this movement brings in some change.

However, Donte also shared a post made by Ashton Kutcher and made a valid point saying that this issue has even been raised earlier. Here's the post.

This issue rightly raised by Donte Palmer needs some reciprocation from the people holding such establishments like malls, etc. What do you think about #squatforchange? Let us know in the comments section.
