The video which was shard on Facebook by the comedian's wife, Shanieke, DJ Pryor can be seen relaxing on a sofa while watching the TV with his toddler son sitting next to him. He asks the little one about the show 'Empire' which kickstarts a lengthy conversation between them. The father replies to the child like they are having a legit conversation. The couple said that they shot the video a month ago and Shanieke posted it on Facebook earlier this week. The Facebook post has over 9.9 lakh reactions, 2.9 lakh comments and more than 14 lakh shares. DJ Pryor said that he plans to use the conversation in his future stand-up comedy. The couple said that the video is a reflection of what their life is truly like, at home.
Leaf Chronicle quoted DJ Pryor as saying, "I talk about my family on stage. My stand-up is based off my life. I think this is just going to add to it. When I was younger, stand-up was just a way to be funny. But now, my stand-up is still funny, but I feel I'm saying something now. I've been doing this nearly 15 years, chasing this dream. Now, I've finally found my voice as a comic. I feel like I'm just adding to the narrative of my story."
