New Delhi, March 3: The government on Wednesday warned people to watch out for scam calls from fraudsters pretending to be representatives of 'Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). PMKVY is a skill development initiative scheme of the government for the recognition and standardisation of skills. The aim of this scheme is to encourage aptitude towards employable skills.

Meanwhile, the government launched the third phase of PMKVY on January 15 to train eight lakh youngsters across the country with an outlay of Rs 948.90 crore.
