A video going viral on social media shows an elephant trying to take off the bikini of a scantily clad model at a safari park. Instagram model Francia James claims that she was groped by the African elephant at Myrtle Beach safari park in South Carolina. It is said that the 9,000-pound female pachyderm may have been attracted to the smell of the woman's torso. Francia said, "The trunk felt just like a large man’s hand with a high-powered vacuum attached!" Although smiling, she can be seen jumping in shock trying to keep the animal away. Meanwhile, Francia was criticised by some social media users saying that they 'don't understand' why the mammal was used to 'promote her body'. On the other hand, the video generated a lot of laughs with people saying how the elephant kept pulling her bikini. Some even said that the elephant deserves a 'high five' but not everyone agreed. One of the comments read, "I don't understand why you have to film animals to promote your body." After the video generated negative reactions, Francia changed her Instagram account to a 'private' setting. She has over 2.2 million followers on the social media app. According to the zoo’s website, the elephant, named Bubbles, was rescued in the early 1980s when her herd was hunted for their ivory, with her being one of the few to have survived in the poaching act.
