Dubai's Gevora Hotel: World's New Tallest Hotel To Be Opened in Dubai

Dubai has given the world and tourists another great reason to visit the country. They are all set to open the world’s new tallest hotel, Gevora Hotel built by the Al Attar Group this week. Dubai, which already held the title of the 'world's tallest hotel' in form of JW Marriott Marquis has gone ahead to better its record at the Shaikh Zayed Road. Standing at 356 metres, Dubai's Gevora hotel will be 1 meter taller than the Marriott's Marquis hotel. With the opening of the Gevora, Dubai will also become the first city with two of the tallest hotels in the world. Not to forget, United Arab Emirates (UAE) is also home to Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building.
According to reports, the 75-floor structure stands at a height of 356 metres (1,167.98 feet) and will have 528 rooms. Its location is right near the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) cluster that is a major global financial hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia markets. It will also have the Emirates Towers as its fine neighbour.
Gevora and the Al Attar Group hope to replace the world’s tallest hotel title which is currently held by the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel located just down Shaikh Zayed Road, which soars to 1,165 feet. This property had been opened in 2012 and has 1,608 rooms.
Twitter is abuzz with photos and shares of the world's tallest hotel. The fever seems to have gone sky-high considering its opening tomorrow.
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur, Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, Baiyoke Tower II, Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower, The Cullinan South Tower, Radisson Royal Dubai are the other tallest hotels in the world.
