Gina and Mark officially own the hotel which was a drunken decision they took. They have now renamed it to 'Lucky Beach Tangalle'. Gina was quoted to the Mirror, "When we walked into the hotel we saw a group of old Sri Lankan men who were still drunk from the night before, so we started drinking with them. When we were on the beach drinking rum, we were told that the lease was almost up for the hotel. After finding out that it was £10,000 a year, myself and Mark thought that it would be a brilliant idea to buy it - because we were so drunk."
Even while completing the formalities and knowing more details about the lease and renewal, the couple was in a hangover. They were drinking rum at the time they were talking to another couple about the lease. They did a barter in their tipsy state and agreed to pay £30,000. They will pay the other half by March 2019. It has been a year since then and the couple is making efforts to make developments at the hotel they stayed in.

Now they are expecting a child and they have much of amount left to pay. The couple regretted their decision as the business would not work that well. Plus they had a lot of debts to clear from their wedding. But thankfully they have managed their responsibilities and made it work for them.
