A drunk man has been arrested for trying to have sex with a pile of leaves in the car park of a Premier Inn in Stockport, near Manchester, last month. Michael Golsorkhi has been jailed for eight weeks for thrusting into a pile with trousers at his ankles in front of families having food at Beefeater pub next door. The 26-year-old ran away and hid in the bushes when he was confronted by hotel staff. He came out of the bushes only after police arrived at the scene. In a statement, an unnamed staff member told the Daily Mail, "My colleague and I were aware of a male acting suspiciously in the hotel car park, near to the main entrance. We saw a white male with his trousers down and we could see his bum. There was nothing between me and this male, he was about a car length away from me and he appeared to be having sex." They added, "At one stage I shouted to him 'What are you doing, you dirty b*****d' and he then leapt up, pulled his trousers up and sat in the bushes. We rang the police, and I kept shouting 'what are you doing, clear off'. He gave no explanation what form what he was doing."

Michael was arrested outside the hotel in Stockport, Greater Manchester last month. At a hearing at Stockport Magistrates Court, he was shown mobile phone footage of the incident. Michael admitted to outraging public decency and possessing cannabis. Michael had been previously convicted for harassing his parents. His Defence lawyer Neville Warburton said, "The staff from the hotel did ask if he was all right but he was in quite a terrible state. He has no recollection of the behaviour described. Unsurprisingly, this is relating to some information that he took drugs ranging from cocaine to cannabis and alcohol. He took a combination of illicit substances and alcohol, and got himself into some sort of state."

Sentencing Golsorkhi magistrate Edward Tasker said, "You were remorseful about this and quite embarrassed about it and the fact this is something not really nice to do outside. Under the circumstances, what has been suggested is that cannabis may have had something to do with it. Think about your life. Make sure you do go out and seek help. Unfortunately for you, it is you who have found yourself in this position."
