Tanu aka Kangana Ranaut went ghani bawri after getting dumped by her husband (played by R. Madhavan) in their 2015-flick Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Looking drop-dead gorgeous in colourful Patiala kurti, Tanu Trivedi not only danced at Manu Sharma’s baarat but also got drunk and put on a fiery performance. This was probably one of the fewest occasions when a female protagonist in Bollywood movie chose to show her displeasure publicly than sob in a corner. And seems like a girl in Gurugram took a cue from Kangana’s heartbroken act to revolt against her alleged ex-boyfriend. A video on social media has gone viral about a girl to go crazy drunk and dance on a number of sad songs played by DJ outside her ex-beau’s house! Break-ups do make you crazy, we guess.

A girl dressed in a grey long sleeves t-shirt and black pants is seen dancing on Tere Ishq Mein Naachenge song from Aamir Khan’s 1996 film Raja Hindustani. Just like Aamir Khan was drunk in this particular scene angry with his ladylove, Karisma Kapoor, the young girl seems quite troubled. Looking inebriated, she shows off dance moves bare-footed in a busy street amidst curious, giggling, smirking onlookers mostly comprising men. Not just the Raja Hindustani song, but there are a couple of Punjabi songs she chose to dance on.

According to NDTV report, a video has been uploaded by a certain Sandeep Sehwag with the caption reading, ‘a drunk girl was dancing in front of her boyfriend's house in Helmandi, Pataudi city of Gurugram. She was dancing on DJ on the famous song from the film Raja Hindustani.’ The same report also stated that the girl took the step after the boyfriend cheated on her and later broke up with her.

Another Facebook page titled Delhi Vibe also shared a footage of the drunk girl dancing on the streets. Its caption states, “After breakup with boyfriend, She takes DJ goes to her boyfriends home drunk and dances on sad Bollywood numbers! #Bollywood #Drunk #Girl.” Meanwhile, a report by TV news channel, ABP stated the girl and her female friend paid Rs 2000 to DJ. They got them on the spot by lying about throwing a birthday party.

Dance Like No One's Watching

However, one cannot confirm the reason behind the girl’s bizarre conduct yet as it is not independently verified. In recent times when ‘real stories’ of viral videos and pictures turn out to have different truths, one cannot confidently believe everything we see on our timeline. Nevertheless, the moral of this story remains – don’t consume alcohol and create a ruckus in public space.
