The social media team of Mumbai Police is unbeatable and are clearly one of the most popular Twitter handles with over 4.23 million followers. The force is back with yet another online campaign, especially for drivers who are obsessed twiddling apps. Mumbai Police announced its '#DontAppAndDrive' campaign on Twitter to urge drivers not be on their phones especially checking their apps while on the move. The creatives '#DontAppAndDrive' are quick hits on Twitter.

The tweets clearly states that your last seen on your favorite apps should not be the "last time for your loved ones to see you".

Similarly, you can put or up to date your stories later when you reach your destination safely. And it is not just risking the life of drivers, but also other people on the road.

The roads are full of crowd and it is not safe the second you take your eyes off to look at your phone. Driving and posting together, is not a good idea!

However, this campaign reminds us of another Twitter handle, 'It Can Wait' which promotes similar objective of Driving Safely on the road. Powered by AT&T, this campaign again has ruled the internet with its advanced tweets and YouTube videos. Here are some of its interesting videos.

You are never alone on the road

No post is worth a life

Well, it is definite that Mumbai Police are up to date with the recent trends. With its hipster social media strategies, the team has come up with many online campaigns on road safety, online privacy, crimes against women and innovative hashtags that has undoubtedly overwhelmed its massive followers.

The department has kept consistently playing with words, relying on Bollywood and pop culture references, with its well designed info graphics, fantastic memes, GIFs and humorous one liners to frame their messages on the cyberspace since its inception on Twitter in December 2015.

With its cool creative awareness messages, this slogan is surely winning thumbs up!
