Travelling around the world has become quite a fad in the recent times. While we love learning new cultures, tasting their food, understanding a country's history and visit popular places, it is also essential that we respect their laws and adhere them. Unless, of course, you also want to experience what a day in their jail feels like! While laws are essential for a civilised society to function rightfully, certain regulations in different countries around the world can be confusing and make you question its need.
While it is not our duty to judge a country based on their laws, some of them sound bizarre and make one wonder what made them put it into force. From not being allowed to flush toilets post a particular time to chewing gum or whistling are barred under laws in certain countries. While women by law have to wear fully covering clothes in certain countries, some don't let married women drink more than a glass of wine. Sounds weird? right. So we have compiled a list of laws from around the world and be better informed the next time you travel.

While some of these laws sound strange, they were put into action just to avoid any catastrophe. But not all seem to follow that, certain rules seem sexist while some were looks like it was made for the convenience of the people who enforced it. There are more such laws that stop its citizens and tourists from doing certain things.
