In view of the recent cases that is happening in India and across the world, it seems that the struggle to make the planet a lot more better place to live in will never end. The most disturbing and disgusting things which seems to grow even more are those mentalities who enjoys harassing women every hour. Rape, eve teasing, molestation, sexual misconduct, obscene acts, uninvited attention, stalking; harassment has become a recurrent theme. The capital city once again has witnessed a shameful incident on April 15, 2018. A man was arrested by the Police on the charge of indulging in an obscene act in front a woman in South Delhi.
According to the woman’s complaint to the Vasant Kunj Police, the accused named Sandeep Chouhan rang the doorbell of her house on Thursday night, April 14. As soon as she opened the door, he started doing obscene acts while talking to her. When the woman called her friend to the door, he ran away. The accused has been identified with the help of the building’s CCTV footage; as a taekwondo teacher by profession. After detail investigation, the police found that he had already remained in the judicial custody for about 14 months on chargers of murder and sexual harassment and later has been released on bail. The accused Sandeep Chouhan was booked under sections 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
A similar incident happened in Pakistan where a man was delighted to jerk off staring at the van of teenage girls in the middle of the road while on his motorbike. When one of the girls managed to click a picture of him, he quickly wore a mask and continued to masturbate. Presence of mind! Like we said, there are many walking and talking “pricks”, who make life difficult for others by their mere sight. Their very existence shames decency and humanity!
