The former Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge is in a serious mess at the moment, after his beloved pooch, was stolen from his Los Angeles home. The 29-year-old is ready to pay anything in order to be reunited with his pet dog, a Pomeranian, named Lucci. In a viral Instagram video, the footballer, reported the incident, showing the smashed glass in his ransacked home and urging the thief to return his pet. The viral video has reached to his 3.5 million followers on Instagram, but no one happens to know anything about Lucci yet, while inspection by the L.A. Police is underway. Everyone who is following the former Liverpool striker, knows how much Sturridge loves his pet. Lucci has its own Instagram page with more than 2,000 followers. Along with the plea for his dog to be returned, the footballer has also uploaded a series of pictures of Lucci, hoping that he might be identified.

“Listen, somebody's broken into the house in L.A. Took my dog from the house. Listen, whoever knows who broke into my crib, I'll pay you anything, I'm dead serious. I want to know who took my s***. I want to know what went on. I want to know why they took my dog. I want to know why they took bags from upstairs. I want to know what the f*** is going on, I'm dead serious. How can you break into a house in L.A. and take somebody's dog, are you crazy? You've come into a house to take a dog? Yo, somebody please find my dog. I'll pay anything, I'm dead serious. I want my dog back, man,” Sturridge can be heard pleading in the viral Instagram video.

After the incident went viral, the LA Police reported that they had received a call post-midnight. No one was home when the alleged burglary took place. Along with his dog, other personal belongings were also missing. Footballer, Sturridge has recently left Liverpool, when his contract expired at the end of June.
