Dame Sarah Gilbert, Scientist Behind Oxford COVID Vaccine, Gets Standing Ovation at Wimbledon’s Centre Court (Watch Video)

Dame Sarah Gilbert, who co-designed the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, was given a standing ovation by the crowd at the Wimbledon’s Centre Court on Monday. Wimbledon 2021 began earlier on June 28. After last year’s Grand Slam was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic the organisers at Wimbledon honoured some of the key-workers.
