Dad Shares Dead Son's Essay Titled 'You Are Going to Die, So Be Happy' and Twitter Is Emotional

There are only a handful of people who understand the true meaning of life and death. Sometimes, the answers to these worldly problems are more simple than you think, just like this 23-year-old's essay that is going viral now after two weeks of his death. A father recently shared his dead son's high school essay on Twitter, and it is going viral for all the right reasons. His college essay titled "You Are Going To Die, So Be Happy" gives a different perception to life and death. The essay is definitely something that usually 23-year-old doesn't come up with. But this boy in his early twenties seemed to be the exceptional one. The father from Philadelphia, who goes by the handle name @sam's dad took to Twitter to caption the screenshot of the essay with: "My 23 year old son passed away 2 weeks ago due to a complication from an autoimmune disorder. He wrote this essay in high school, which is a good reminder to all of us to live our lives to the fullest. "It may sound morbid, but people have an expiration date. Sometimes people don't even get a chance to make it that long", he starts the essay. "Car crashes, sickness, acts of God, all of the things have the potential to snuff out of the light of life. I don't dwell on this reality, I merely acknowledge it. Accepting mortality allows for a more fulfilling life. You are going to die, so be happy."
