A shopper received the shock of her lives on seeing a live gecko amongst the box of raspberries she bought from Sainsbury's supermarket. It is not known how the gecko entered the box in the supermarket. The reptile was found in a box in the fruits section of a supermarket in Basildon, Essex in the United Kingdom. A fellow customer named Laura Johnson at the store bought it. Daily Mail quoted Laura as saying, "I was approached by a fellow customer who had picked them up and she was worried about it being disposed of. I passed it onto a supervisor and left it with him. I can only hope he or she wasn't hurt." The RSPCA was informed and the gecko took care of the reptile. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the company said, "We're investigating with our supplier.
