Maysa had seen her father, identified as Andrew Clifton beating her mother for as long as she could remember. She was tired of her father’s behaviour and wanted to take her mother out of the violent relationship. The 15-year-old told the Mirror, “I feel quite bad I videoed it and put my dad in that situation. But it needed to be shown. I was just focused on my mum. The couple had met, when they were only 17. After they moved in, the abuse started two months later from that day. Many severe incidents had happened in the past, which has traumatised both Tania and her daughter, Maysa. Now Clifton is facing eight years imprisonment. However, Tania says that she will never feel safe.
