In a rather desperate attempt to make money online, a couple from Cambodia resorted to eating some animals after skinning them. The couple filmed the entire skinning and eating to make videos, which in turn would pay them. The woman named Ah Lin Tuch and her husband Phoun Raty caused an outrage for trying to showcase the 'survivalist' life. The couple has till now eaten several protected species of birds, snakes including a king cobra, frogs, a cat and also the stingrays fish.

The couple made a campfire in a jungle near their house. In the videos, the woman is seen grilling the animals and eating them. These videos caused an uproar. Viewers reported the couple when they found they were hunting the animals from the wildlife near Cambodia, cooking it and relishing it, all for money! The country's Ministry of Environment launched an operation for them and tracked them down. The couple then publicly apologized for destroying the wildlife.

Take a look at the videos of the woman eating endangered species:

Chea Sam Arng, head of the Environment Ministry’s General Directorate for Administration of Nature Conservation and Protection, said: ''We are now in the process of taking legal action against them while the working group is preparing a report on the matter. The animals that were cooked were mostly not on the endangered list, but are protected. Only one species was in danger of extinction.'' The couple agreed they bought their 'foodstuff' from the local market and cooked it. Environmental officers are also looking into these stalls, if they are illegal or the couple killed them in the wild and then ate them.
