Journalists reporting from fields have been on the receiving end many-a-times in the past. From being at sensitive places, reporting from places witnessing natural calamity, in between crowds and every place that makes to headlines. In the process, at times they themselves have to deal with miscreants and molesters. In one such incident, a female Colombian journalist was groped and kissed while she was reporting live on TV. Julieth Gonzalez Theran was held was doing her job when a creep appeared to kiss hear and leave.
She was reporting on World Cup from Russia for German TV news channel Deutsche Welle when the incident happened. Julieth was standing in front of a camera giving updates on the football frenzy in the city of Saransk last week when she was molested. Following the incident, Julieth took to Instagram and shared the video with a caption in Spanish which read, "RESPECT! We do not deserve this deal. We are equally valuable and professional. I share the joy of football, but we must identify the limits of affection and harassment."

Videos of journalists being molested while reporting from the field has gone viral at multiple times in the past. Earlier this year, a Brazilian journalist Bruna Dealtry almost faced a similar experience when a shirtless man came too close to kiss her while she was reporting. Theran said she went looking for the molester after finishing the report but could not find him. Social media users were outraged by the video saying people should not forget morality during celebrations.
