First Lady Melania Trump took to Twitter sharing pictures of the White House decorated for Christmas. However, Twitter just like last year is not impressed with the Christmas decor and is taking potshots at her. In 2017, Melania Trump was trolled for making the White House look spooky. This time it is red trees on the White House's hallway that has lead to memes and jokes on the internet. This year the theme is 'American Treasures' that honours the unique heritage of America.
The decorations also include a tree trimmed by Gold Star families, an array of 40 topiary trees and mantelpieces featuring the skylines of New York City, St. Louis, Chicago and San Francisco. Decorated by Gold Star families, the tree is for troops and families who have sacrificed for the country. The customary gingerbread house is in its place and the traditional White House tree stands tall at 5.5 meters.
