Chinese Man Spends Rs 25 Lakhs on His Glamorous Dog's Beauty Regime (Watch Video)

Have you felt guilty about spending a little too much on your grooming sessions? Well, it seems you are not culpable enough if a dog's beauty regime can cost more than Rs 25 lakhs. A Chinese man has been pampering his dog with some serious beauty regime and the Afghan Hound looks at every bit glamorous. With those shiny flowing locks, three-year-old AJ Nirvana Battle turn heads wherever he goes. His human, Kevin Chan, a Marketing director Kevin, has been giving his glamorous dog a lot of beauty time and the animal has been showing positive results.

While he spends Rs 10 lakh on grooming equipment, around Rs 50,000 is spent per month on the dog's bathing products, especially for those long hair. Chan does all grooming for his dog by himself and spends six to eight hours a week brushing the animal. For him, Battle is the most beautiful animal on Earth.

Daily Mail quoted Chan as saying, "Since the moment I decided to take Battle home, he was already the most beautiful dog in the world. He is a family member now, so I don't mind spending time and money on him. I need to bathe him regularly every seven to 10 days – it takes six to eight hours to bathe and groom him every time."

Chan added saying, "Afghan hounds were born as models and have their own unique characters, I don't style him deliberately, I just follow my heart. I always tell people I didn't choose the dog - but he chose me. Therefore I have to try my best to give him the best treatment."

Chan who adopted the dog three years ago has been taking care of his pooch in a similar way since then. He uses talcum or baby powder to remove tangles in his hair and a nutritious solution is used to smoothen his fur. Chan also bought a camera and took photography classes to click Battle in his best avatar and share those on social media. He says he likes how people react to seeing his dog. The common question he gets asked is if Battle is a dog or sheep. He says people show a lot of love and never stop showering compliments on his pictures.
