Chai Pe Lo Aunty Inspires Mumbai Police’s Tweet, ‘Hello Fraaands! Helmet Pehan Lo to Have a Safe-Tea at Home!’

From the newest viral video to memes and movie dialogues, the city police's Twitter handle makes hilarious references to it all. This time it is a road safety advisory in their regular funny style. The tweet takes reference from Somvati Mahawar's video 'Hello friends, Chai Pi Lo!' that had gone viral on the internet. The woman's video asking people if they have had tea while drinking from a glass was the subject of memes and jokes on social media.

And Mumbai Police couldn't let go off something so popular among internet users. Urging people to wear helmets while driving, Mumbai Police used Mahavar's way of reaching out to people on the internet. They tweeted saying, "Hello Fraaands! Helmet pehan lo... to have a Safe-Tea at home! #RoadSafeTEA." They have also edited the part where she says "Chai Pi Lo" to "Helmet pehen lo".
