Carvana, a leading e-commerce platform is trying to change the normal car buying experience altogether. The company has unveiled car vending machine in Indianapolis. At seven stories high, it has 26 vehicles on display. Customers can make purchases from this building, sell their current vehicle and make the transaction all in just ten minutes.
A Carvana Customer Advocate will greet you upon arrival, and give you an oversized coin. It can be inserted to vend the car like any other vending machine. By this quick method, the company is trying to reduce the otherwise haggling that goes into buying a car. It also lets you take it for a test drive like you do at any other car dealer. Reportedly, every Carvana vehicle goes through a 150-point inspection and is Carvana certified. Ernie Garcia, founder and CEO of Carvana said, "We first brought Indianapolis the new way to buy a car in 2016, when we launched as-soon-as-next-day vehicle delivery to area customers. We are confident Indianapolis will enjoy the fun, personalized experience of getting their next car from our Car Vending Machine, and the exceptional customer service that comes with it."

The Car Vending Machine is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm. ET. While the machine is currently open only in Indianapolis, Carvana subsidises USD200 in airfare and arrange transportation from the International Airport for those living outside of the metro area. Carvana which was founded in 2012 is majorly an e-commerce site which changed the way people bought cars.
