Mumbai Police keeps surprising us with their exceptional way in maintaining the country’s law and order and continuous communication with the public through their Twitter account. It will not be wrong saying that the department is quick to share important information. The last time we saw them giving some traffic lessons to Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu, after his picture riding a bike without wearing a helmet went viral. Apart from their wit posts and hilarious pun, they are performing their duties with dedication. This time, it is a sheer humane act that have attracted the citizens. Mumbai Police and Make-a-Wish India Foundation got together to fulfil Arpit Mandal’s dream. The 7-year-old cancer patient’s dream came true on March 22 as he was sworn in as an inspector at a police station for a day.
Arpit was in charge of the Mulund police station for one whole day. Dressed completely in Khaki uniform, the 7-year-old was seen sitting on a chair at his office desk, taking up some important notes and also being fed by the officials at Mulund police station. The Mumbai Police social media team tweeted along with the picture on March 23 and it won many hearts.

Make-A-Wish Foundation contribute to the wishes of children aged 3 to 17, with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. It is encouraging to see our protectors’ sensitive sight! The step is indeed a generous one as they endeavour to keep the smiles in the faces of Mumbaikars in the truest sense. And we wish that Arpit recovers soon!
