In a shocking yet surprising incident, a Canadian man who got swept over by the Niagara Falls on early Tuesday morning, survived. Niagara Parks Police in Ontario, Canada, responded to a man in the early hours of the morning, whom they described as being "in crisis" situation. Police in Ontario, Canada, said that the man was injured after being swept over by Horseshoe Falls, one of the waterfalls at Niagara Falls. According to the CBC, Niagara Falls police said the man looked distressed and was seen climbing over a retaining wall above the falls on the Canadian side at about 4 am. CNN reports that during the search at the base of the falls, officers had seen him sitting on some rocks near the fall. According to the Niagara Parks website, the plunge pool is usually 100 feet deep. Horseshoe Falls is the largest of the three waterfalls that form Niagara Falls.  The speed of the water above the falls hit a maximum speed of about 40 km/h, according to Niagara Parks. An estimated 1,68,000 cubic metres waterfalls over every minute before reaching approximately 57 metres downwards. Reportedly, this man is the fifth person without protection to survive the falls since the 1960s. He is said to have been benefitted from the Niagara River' high water level.
