The role of a teacher in building a student's life is considered extremely important in every society. However, the quality of education and efficiency of some teachers in the country does not seem to promise it. In what can be considered as a prime example of the substandard education system in the country, a teacher in Jharkhand was seen teaching utterly disgraceful things to his students. The video shows students sitting under a tree repeating English and Hindi alphabets after the teacher.

The teacher of a government school in Udburu village goes on to call Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as a PM of thieves in Hindi making the children repeat it. He explains alphabets to his students as "'Cha' se 'chor' and 'cha' se 'Chacha Nehru Choron Ke Pradhan Mantri The' (Chacha Nehru was the prime minister of thieves)'." He also reads from the blackboard, "'Gh' se 'Ghanti' (bell) and 'Gh' for 'Ghanti bajane wala budbak (foolish) Brahmin'."

While we are used to hearing A for Apple, B for bat and C for cat, this teacher explains it as "A for Adivasi (tribal people), B for Bideshi (foreigner), C for Chhotanagpur and D for Dharti (Earth)." The students are at a young age taught futile things which may get ingrained in them. Not only are they out of the syllabus but bootles words and phrases that can be held objectionable.

According to Zee News, officials of the education department did not know about such education being imparted to students.
