Breastfeeding in public can be a daunting experience for many women out there. So a mother has come to the rescue with an ingenious invention for other breastfeeding mothers. She has introduced t-shirts with zips at the sides which will comfortably hide most parts of the breasts while breastfeeding. Lauren Hampshire, a 34-year-old woman has set up her own business called the Milky Tee. Her project has even found funding from investor Richard Branson and getting orders from all around the world. She even won the PayPal International Award for her invention.
These t-shirts have secret zip under the arms which can be easily accessed while feeding. Talking about her venture the mother of two said to an international daily, "It was an idea I had when I was breastfeeding my youngest daughter after feeling there had got to be an easier solution for breastfeeding mums who felt self-conscious to feed their children in public. Both my daughters (Sophia, now five and Sienna, now two) were feeding often and I sometimes felt like a human milking machine. I really struggled to find clothes that I could wear." When she could not find enough comfortable clothes, she decided to make her own.

Her innovative product has even given her another award Virgin Business Voom Awards. The tee is made from a chemical-free material which will protect even the sensitive skin. Lauren wanted the breastfeeding to become more of a fashion and she is out there already ensuring it is. Her mother-in-law was very supportive of her and helped in starting it out. People from Spain, Dubai, America and even Australia are placing orders for her tees. Her next plans are to shift from not just t-shirts to jumpers and dresses.
