We often hear people doing bizarre things. But how bizarre is this? A pair of ‘bra bandits’ were caught stealing 11,000 dollars’ worth lingerie from a Victoria Secret store in Folsom, California. In a Facebook post, Folsom Police posted a picture of the lingerie haul which displayed over a hundred colourful padded bras which two women had reportedly stuffed into several large bags. On being confronted by an employee from the store, one of the women whipped out a pepper-spray and attacked the employee so the two could make their escape. Fortunately, the employee was not severely injured and was able to give the police a description of the getaway car.

According to the Facebook post, the police were called to the store in the Palladio at Broadstone just before 8 pm. After the description given by the employee, an alert officer was able to spot the car as the two women attempted to leave the area, and immediately arrested the robbers. The women were found with thousands of dollars’ worth lingerie. Both were charged with robbery and conspiracy. One of them was also booked for possession of a counterfeit 100-dollar bill, which was found during the investigation.
