Moved by the condition of people in the flood hit Kerala, Vishnu decided to donate his entire stock to the needy people.

Mumbai, August 12: The worst of times, bring the best out of some people, it is often said. A blanket merchant named Vishnu from Maharashtra, who had brought 50 blankets to Kerala to sell, decided to change his mind after he saw the suffering there due to the floods. Moved by the condition of people in the flood hit Kerala, Vishnu decided to donate his entire stock to the needy people.

Generosity and charity is a virtue, and one who practices it, shall not go unnoticed on Twitter, the social media platform seems to be saying. The situation in Kerala continues to remain grim with 11 out of the 14 states flooded and red alert has been declared for the next three to four days.  Over 37 have already lost their lives and thousands have been displaced due to the floods.
