People who do not belong to the millennial era, would agree that when it came to education, parents didn’t spend a bomb for school fees. However, in the past few years, the system has drastically changed. Parents now want to give their children the best at whatever cost. But is there a reasonable amount that parents should spend on children’s education especially when they are in pre-primary? Well, some schools believe apparently not.

In Bishop Cotton Boys’ School which is 153 years old is considered by many discerning people to be one of India’s finest schools is now in the limelight after a fee structure under various heads for a LKG admission in Bengaluru has gone viral on social media. The fee structure has some weird overheads such as LEGO/Robotics Education, Christmas Fellowship lunch, Annual Medical Fee and more. This had our Twitterati go head over heels.

Pic of Fee Structure Leaked Online

And Twitter reacts to the bizarre fee structure

Someone found a spelling error

Schools not adhering to government fees regulation?

School showed mercy by leaving x, y and z points

This tweet tops our list

Although we can also see that their UKG fees is comparatively lesser than LKG.

Well, these bizarre fee structures are surely going to burn hole in our pockets. How sensible is it to pay more than Rs 2 lakhs for making your children learn a, b, c? Well, this is certainly a debatable topic. Some parents may find it preposterous to pay such a big amount, while on the other hand there are parents who are willing to pay because they believe that they will provide their child with quality education. However, we do not verify the authentication of the fee structure of the school.
