The world knows that current US President Donald Trump is not one of the smartest people we know, at least to be eligible to be the president. There have been several incidents where Mr. Trump has made a mockery out of himself. This time it was in front of Microsoft founder Bill Gates. According to the billionaire philanthropist Donald Trump twice asked him the difference between HIV and HPV and knew a ‘scary’ amount about Gate’s daughter’s looks.
On Thursday night, MSNBC’s All in with Chris Hayes aired footage of a presentation by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, in which the billionaire philanthropist told audience members that on two separate occasions he had to explain Trump that HIV and HPV are not the same thing. “Both times he wanted to know if there was a difference between HIV and HPV, so I was able to explain that those are rarely confused with each other,” Gates told the crowd.

Addressing the audience, Gates said his daughter Jennifer, 22, had encountered Mr. Trump at a horse show in Florida. “He went up and talked to Jen and he was being super nice and then 20 minutes later he flew in on a helicopter to the same place, “Gates said. Clearly, he wanted to make a grand entrance in a helicopter. Gates was able to avoid Trump during the first meet in 2016 but had to finally meet him at a Trump Tower meeting that December. He said, “When I first talked to him it was actually kind of scary how much he knew about my daughter’s appearance. Melinda didn’t like that too well.” Scary indeed.
Gates met Trump again last year in March at the White House, he continued, “In both of those two meetings, he asked me if vaccines weren’t a bad thing because he was considering a commission to look into ill-effects of vaccines and somebody – I think it was Robert Kennedy Jr – was advising him that vaccines were causing bad things. And I said no, that’s a dead end, that would be a bad thing, don’t do that.”
Tara Dowdell, Democratic strategist told the MSNBC host, “We’re looking at a president that doesn’t know the difference between HIV and HPV, but he has memorised Bill Gate’s daughter’s appearance. So, if he spent more time actually learning policy, if he devoted just a quarter of the time that he devotes to harassing women and gawking at women to actual policy, memorising and learning policy, I think the country would be a lot better off.” True that.
