The Margarita is undeniably everyone’s go-to summer thirst quenchers. But it seems that the human’s favourite drink fascinates bears too, may be because of the scorching heat. During his short relaxing moment, the furry mammal drank a margarita which was hanging on the tub; the act certainly provides a common interest. Mark Hough, a resident of Altadena was lounging in his backyard in the afternoon on June 29 with his wife and few glasses of margaritas. Soon, he heard twigs snapping and leaving whizzing in his lush. At first, he thought the noise was coming from his neighbour’s property. Hough told the Associated Press, “So I got up, looked over in the bushes and lo and behold there's a bear climbing up over my fence.” After few hours, the bear availed itself in Hough’s backyard, his hot bubbling tub and the cocktail he left behind.

“He was playing having a grand old time,” added Hough. He recorded the video of the bear rolling in the hot tub. After the bear hopped out of the tub, the Californian resident said that the bear, “popped out of the bushes, walked right over to the margarita, knocked it over and lapped it.” The man later spotted the bear taking a nap in an oak tree before it disappeared down the street. It has been reported that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s received six bear-sighting calls that day but could not find it.
