Former US Marine Kevin Armentrout took to Facebook sharing a beautiful incident wherein his daughter made friends with a man quite older to her and how they spent time together while waiting for a flight at an airport in the United States. The post has since then gone viral with over 228,000 likes and 184,000 shares.
Kevin writes about his daughter saying that 'as being her usual inquisitive self wanting to meet and say 'hi' to everyone she could, until she walked up on this man.' The man immediately responded and helped her sit on a chair next to him and also lend her his tablet. The post further reads, "He reached out and asked if she wanted to sit with him. He pulled out his tablet and showed her how to draw with it, they watched cartoons together, and she offered him snacks. This wasn’t a short little exchange, this was 45 minutes." Talking about how the country is divided over different beliefs, Kevin says "moments" like these show our "human" nature. He writes, "In a country that is continuously fed that it’s so deeply divided by beliefs, I want her life to be filled with moments like this... not liberal or conservative republican or democrat, socialist or capitalist, just HUMAN."
