'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' Craze Reaches Japan, Video of Fans Cheering The Movie in Theatre Unanimously Goes Viral

Baahubali became a household name after the release of S S Rajamouli's mythological movie, 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and with the arrival of the second part 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', the craze spread like wildfire across the country. And the thunderous response at the box office made it the biggest film of 2017. The film collected more than Rs 1700 crore (all versions) creating history. Seems the Baahubali obsession was not just limited to India, Japan seems to be equally in love with the movie. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in lead roles, the movie released in Japan on December 29. The movie right now in its 11th week is running strong as enthusiastic fans continue to throng theaters with all ammunition to cheer the movie.
Armed with fan posters, cards, cosplay and light baton among other things, the Baahubali fans are giving a tough competition to India's homegrown movie. The videos of which are circulating on social media show ardent fans enjoying the movie. The official page of Baahubali tweeted saying, "Overjoyed to see #Baahubali2 going strong in Japan! We have crossed 1 million US$, and still running! Thank you✊ Jai Maahishmathi..."

Baahubali's roaring success in the country was such that IIM Ahmedabad is planning to make the movie a case study to decode the success of the film. Second year management students of IIM will take this under movie business. The film also starred Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, and others in important roles.
A question that particularly drove audiences to the second part of Baahubali was 'Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?' Social media was filled with various answers to the question making it a popular trend in the country. The release of both movies was almost treated a celebration time in India.
