Avengers: Infinity War Light up Burj Khalifa: View Picture as World’s Tallest Building in Dubai Begins Countdown of Marvel Film’s Release!

Without saying save the date: April 27, 2018 for Marvel Cinematic Universe is ready to release universe’s biggest film till date – Avengers: Infinity War. And joining the exciting promotional bandwagon is Burj Khalifa, world’s tallest building situated in Dubai. The tower is glowing in marvellous Marvel colours to start the countdown of film’s global release on Friday. Avengers: Infinity War is nineteenth and grandest movie to date by Marvel Studios which will see earth’s mightiest heroes facing their and humanity’s ultimate enemy Thanos. Also known as the Mad Titan, Thanos is obsessed with its ‘lover’ death and is hell-bent on wiping out half the universe by collecting all infinity stones!
Time and again Burj Khalifa has lit up on special occasions, be it a significant date in calendar or to support an important cause. Well, this time around the globally famous tower has lightened up in special colour, Marvel’s iconic scarlet red tone to begin the five-day countdown of its biggest movie’s release.
On the official Twitter handle of Burj Khalifa, they shared an image of lit building covered in red, the colour of one of the five infinity stones – Aether also known as the Reality Stone. The building showcased the image of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Spiderman (Tom Holland), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wong (Benedict Wong). In bold and capital, they have written ‘5 Days to Go’ on the tower and you know directors Russo Brothers’ upcoming movie is a huge deal.
Along with the photo, the caption @BurjKhalifa writes is, “Catch the 5 days countdown of the @Avengers on #BurjKhalifa at 7:50 pm!” It simply means over the period of next fives days you get to see the building covered in four more colours representing the four other infinity stones (minus the sixth colour in orange hue representing the Soul Stone).

We have already seen the Reality Stone with Iron Man leading the pack. We should expect Burj Khalifa to light in Mind Stone colour of yellow featuring Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and The Vision (Paul Bettany). The Space Stone in blue colour with Captain America (Chris Evans), The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Shuri (Letitia Wright). The Power Stone in purple hue will see heroes, the one-eyed Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper). The Time Stone will be in green colour with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Okoye (Danai Gurira) grace the group.
