Brisbane, October 7: Popular live streamer Ice Poseidon whose real name is Paul Denino and Sam Pepper were briefly arrested by Queensland police in Australis for playing prank on a sex worker as part of a challenge. The duo were arrested under allegations of sexual assault. The accusations stemmed from an incident where it was claimed that they paid for the services of a sex worker and subsequently set up a livestream, during which they filmed the sex worker in their hotel room.

Denino from the United States and Pepper from the United Kingdom streamed themselves  on September 22 hiring the woman for $500 while on a trip to Brisbane in Australia. NBCNews quoted Queensland police as saying that that the duo were arrested however it was subsequently determined that no offences had been committed and they were un-arrested and no further action was taken at that time.

Denino is renowned online for his outrageous stunts which has seen his home raided by the FBI and had him banned from livestream platform Twitch.

In June, he was arrested in Thailand and faced five years in jail for “distributing obscene content” after wearing a sheer basque and fishnet stockings while rubbing food into the face of a woman he was lap-dancing for in the bar of a Bangkok hotel.

The charges were later dropped in August after he published an apology on X, formerly known as Twitter.
