Jakarta, August 21: One of the most difficult tasks for parents is to find a suitable name for the  newborn. But a couple in Indonesia made light-work of the difficult task by naming their girl after the ongoing Asian Games 2019. Follow live updates and all the breaking news from the 2018 Asian Games.

According to a BBC report, an Indonesian couple have named their daughter Abidah Asian Games, in honour of the games being held in their country- Indonesia. According to the report, Abidah was born a month ago at Palembang.

The girl's father, Yordania Denny said that they already had the first name for the girl but did not have a last name.

The father was further quoted saying by the report that events such as the Asian Games is rare which takes place only once every few years.

The father further said that the fact that Palembang was co-hosting such an event was a rarity and an honour.

Asked whether the parents would like to see the girl taking up sports when she grows up, the girl's mother named Vera said that if she has the talent, she will receive support from them.
