As Inder Kumar's Alleged Suicide Video Goes Viral, Wife Pallavi Saraf Reveals The Truth
Inder Kumar had reportedly suffered a massive heart attack at his Andheri residence in Mumbai, a month ahead of his 45th birthday.
Salman Khan's 2009 movie Wanted co-star, Inder Kumar passed away in July earlier this year. The actor had reportedly suffered a massive heart attack at his Andheri residence in Mumbai, a month ahead of his 45th birthday. However, in a recently emerged selfie video, Inder Kumar in a drunken state can be heard admitting that he wants to commit suicide. The video has gone viral on social media with speculations rife on what actually caused the actor's death.
Inder Kumar can be heard saying that his addiction to alcohol including other things ruined his life. He says he came to Mumbai to become an actor and star in movies, however, life had something tragic in store for him. Looking into the camera, he says, "Are you shocked seeing my current state? Then let me tell you something, I am going to commit suicide." Inder Kumar says it's his habits that left him with nothing in the end.
While the video looks like a suicide note before ending his life, some reports suggested that was not the case. After the video went viral speculating reasons that led to Inder Kumar's death, the late actor's wife Pallavi Saraf held a press conference in Mumbai saying the viral video was a scene from a movie he was starring in. PTI quoted Saraf as saying, "It is not a real video. It is actually a scene from a film called Phatti Padi Hai Yaar for which he had shot a year-and-half ago. It is said that people are confusing the film scene with his real life."
She said although there were times when Kumar felt weak after he was accused of rape in 2014, he never gave up. Clearing the around the video, she said, "During that phase, he was highly disturbed. There were, of course, days where he broke down. He was concerned that his name was dragged into this but he never gave up. We would never do that. His death certificate mentions heart attack so why would we try to release a video which says otherwise? This is purely by accident."
Here is the alleged suicide video of Inder Kumar:
He has worked with Salman Khan in several movies including Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and Wanted. He had also appeared in Ekta Kapoor's long-running TV soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir Virani. Inder Kumar had made his Bollywood debut opposite Ayesha Zulka in 1996 with the film Masoom. He has acted in over 20 movies. In 2014, Inder Kumar had grabbed headlines when a model accused him of raping her on the pretext of giving her a role in a Bollywood movie.
