The United States President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met in a historic summit. Singapore became witness to the one-of-its-kind meeting between the two world leaders. Meanwhile, Twitter couldn't stop gushing over the meeting and chipped in with hilarious comments. The social networking site was soon filled in with caricatures, memes, spoofs and other references portraying the meet. Among the Twitterati who drew hilarious references was Congress leader Shashi Tharoor.
The Kerala MP took to Twitter sharing a tweet poking fun at both of them. In the tweet, Kim's cartoon is seen saying, "I will destroy America" to which Trump's cartoon replies by saying, "No way, that is my job. I don’t want another Asian stealing an American job." Trump has at multiple times in the past said that jobs in American should not be "outsourced" to other countries. He had derived flak for the same during his presidential campaign.

Earlier it was specultated that the summit would not happen as Kim cited 'Max military drills' and Trump said it held "tremendous anger and open hostility" from North Korea. However, the historic summit finally happened at Singapore's Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island on Tuesday. Since taking power in 2011, this is Kim's first known trip outside Northeast Asia. Singapore is footing the bill of the summit that has increased their mileage and got them international fame.
