Game of Thrones mania continues to rage on as the second episode of season eight dropped on April 22. HBO’s mega-hit series proved to us once again (for the eighth time) why it’s the number one show in the whole world. GOT junkies have been waking up at the crack of dawn to watch fresh episodes every Monday and to stay one step ahead of spoilers. Even brands have been cashing in on the Game of Thrones hype. The latest one to bend the knee (yes, we just said that) to the GOT mania is Manforce Condoms. And there are SPOILERS Ahead, involving a certain Arya Stark and Gendry.

Check out their most recent tweet:

“A girl must use protection,” is a reference to Arya Stark’s recent sex scene with Gendry in episode 2 season 8.  There was no preparing GOT fans for the love-making scene between the two, particularly since nobody expected the Baratheon bastard and Arya to get together. Also, viewers have seen the girl grow up in front of their eyes. So to see her in the nude caused a lot of mixed reactions.  Arya Stark’s Sex Scene With Gendry Leaked on Twitter Ahead of Episode 2’s Official Airing (SPOILER ALERT).

The line is also a reference to Arya's Bravosi teacher, who taught her the ways of the “faceless” assassins of Bravos. Jaqen H’gar, the faceless assassin who coached Arya has a peculiar manner of speaking where he never uses personal pronouns like I, me, you or him. Instead, H’gar uses third-person references even while he talks about himself: “A man thanks a girl.”

Needless to say, Manforce’s latest tweet is quite clever. The condom company has come up with smart social media marketing campaigns in the past, usually drawing on popular cultural references. Just recently, Manforce had also come up with a smart tweet with the Black Hole reference.
