In a shameful incident from Gujarat, a 13-year-old Dalit boy was brutally beaten he had worn a Rajput's shoe called Rajwadi. The event came to notice after the video went viral on social media. According to a CatchNews report, the victim had filed a complaint, and there he mentioned that he was sitting at the bus stop when some young people came and asked him about his caste. When he told those goons that he was a Dalit, they asked him that despite his low rank, how did he wear a Rajput shoe?

According to the report, the video was also taken by one of the accused, and the entire intention behind it was to make the video viral so that people from the Dalit community can take a lesson and not dare to do something like this. In the video, the goons can be seen yelling that they are thrashing him because he dared to wear a Rajwadi show, despite not being a Rajput.

Dalit leader and Independent MLA Jignesh Mewani tweeted to the CMO, Gujarat saying, "The Gujarat government has failed to stop the attacks against the Dalits. To understand the violence against Dalits in the state and how much they want to see? Reportedly, there have been no arrests till now.
