Dairy brand Amul congratulated Hima Das on Twitter after the Indian sprinter clinched her fourth gold medal in a matter of 15 days. Das won a gold medal in 200m race in Tabor Athletics Meet in Czech Republic on Wednesday. She clocked timing to 23.25 seconds in the race to bag the first position.

The 19-year-old Indian athlete has won four gold medals in 15 days. On July 2, the Assam runner won her first gold at Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland while winning the 200m race. She had clocked a timing of 23.65 seconds. Later, the Indian sprinter won her second 200m gold at the Kutno Athletics Meet, also in Poland on July 7. On July 13, she won her third 200m gold during Kladno Athletics Meet in Czech Republic with a time of 23.43. However, Das is yet to qualify for 400m and 200m for World Championships. The World Championships qualifying time in 400 m is 51.80 seconds while it is 23.02 seconds in 200m.

Meanwhile, in Tabor Athletics Meet, Indian runner Muhammad Anas won in men’s 400m with a timing of 45.40 seconds. Tom Noah Nirmal came second in the same event while KS Jeeval was third with a timing of 46.60. M P Jabir finished fourth in 47.16 seconds. On July 13 at Kladno, Anas had bettered his own 400m national record to clinch gold and qualify for the World Championships by clocking 45.21 seconds.
