Amitabh Bachchan Apologizes For Incorrect Tweet on Indian Women Cricket Team's Win Against South Africa

Amitabh Bachchan is known for his active social media presence. He never ceases to inspire and stun his fans by the utter enthusiasm that he has even at this age. Naturally, his tweets are always under the spotlight, which makes it mandatory for the shahenshah to be precise with what he posts. Recently, Sr Bachchan did an error while congratulating the win of women's cricket team and the fans were quick enough to make him realize his mistake!
It happened so, that Big B took twitter to post a picture of the women's Indian cricket team with the trophy, after they won the match with South Africa. However, what he posted was, "YEEEAAHHH !! CONGRATULATIONS Indian Women's Cricket Team Historic Series win against Australia in T20 and ODI games .. terrific character, batting and fielding .. that catch by Jemimah on the boundary, OUTSTANDING !! you make us PROUD Indians."
You see, what he did? The Thugs of Hindostan actor wrote 'Australia' instead of 'South Africa' making Twitterati go wild with the major correction. Upon realizing the mistake, the humble legend instantly took the micro-blogging site to apologize for the same. He wrote, "Apologies .. that should read South Africa NOT Australia .." Well, better late than never, right?
On the work front, the 75-year-old actor will be next seen in three ambitious projects. He will be working with his Amar Akbar Anthony co-star, Rishi Kapoor, in the film 102 Not Out. Apart from this, he will also be seen in Ranbir Kapoor- Alia Bhatt starrer fantasy flick Brahmastra. Next, he will feature in fiction period drama Thugs of Hindostan that also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
