American Soldier Watches His Baby's Birth on FaceTime Due to Delayed Flight, Video Goes Viral

Brooks who was at Fort Bliss in El Paso flew from there to Dallas, and then on to Jackson, Mississippi. But, his flight to Dallas was delayed leaving him stranded at the airport.

Army soldier Brooks Lindsey missed the flight that was to help him be with his pregnant wife Haley Lindsey when she delivered their baby. But with the plane gone, he sat on the floor of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport not knowing what to do. That is he decided to be virtually present for the most beautiful moment of his life. His reaction watching his baby being born has gone viral with people adoring the man.

Haley's due date was scheduled for another week, but her doctor told her that the delivery needs to happen immediately. Brooks who was at Fort Bliss in El Paso flew from there to Dallas, and then on to Jackson, Mississippi. But, his flight to Dallas was delayed leaving him stranded at the airport. However, had he been in flight, he would not be able to watch the birth live. Haley gave birth to a healthy baby girl. They named her Millie.

It was a woman travelling with the soldier from El Paso, Texas who secretly captured his reaction. Tracy Dover took to Facebook with a picture of the soldier on FaceTime with his family.  The captioned the picture reading, "This Army soldier was on my delayed flight home yesterday to MS. He had to watch the birth of his daughter on FaceTime. He was crying and our hearts were breaking. We all gave him space."

I wanted to share this because I never want us to forget about our soldiers who serve us every day and the sacrifices they make."
