An American Airlines flight from Phoenix to Boston had to be diverted to Kansas City due to a troublesome passenger. Flight 2763 from Phoenix to Boston was forced to land as man continue to do pull-ups on an overhead compartment. Eye-witness David Markoski said that the man who appeared drunk boarded the plane with two dogs. He then placed his bags in the overhead compartment and leaned against it.
Another passenger then sarcastically asked if he was going to do pull-ups. Markoski told WBZ-TBV news channel, "The guy actually grabbed on to it and started doing some pull-ups on the plane in front of everybody." He added saying, "He would not sit down. The flight attendant probably asked him about three or four times to sit down and he refused to sit down and then he really got verbally abusive with her, starting calling her names."
Even after being asked multiple times, the man refused to obey and continued his stunts. With no other way out, the pilots had to land at Kansas City. The man was then escorted by law enforcement officers. The plane then continued to Boston and the man was not charged for his act. An American Airlines spokesperson confirmed that the flight was diverted due to some reason.
