Making parents proud is an emotional moment for most of us. Every success in your life is an achievement for them. For them there is nothing like seeing you making your dreams come true. And so did Air India pilot Ashrrita Chinchankar do on her mother's retirement day. She was the first officer of the flight her mother attended as an air hostess on the day of her retirement after 38 years of service!

Ashrrita took to Twitter narrating her memorable day and was showered with praises and blessings on social media. Before the flight, Ashrrita in a tweet wrote, "Guys, tomorrow I will be flying with my mother on her retirement day when she gracefully operates her last flight as an Air Hostess with @airindiain after 38 years of service privileged to be her first officer tomorrow! #proud #grateful #happy"

Ashrrita also wrote on social media that it was her mother's dream to see her as a pilot and wanted her to fly it on the day she retired. Air India in a tweet replied to the pilot saying, "@caramelwings Our heartfelt wishes to your mother and you for this special flight when she passes the baton on to you to have the privilege of serving our passengers with dedication. The legacy lives on."
