A huge cobra was seen in the Jiajuri Tea Estate region of Assam. A 14-feet-long King cobra was spotted by the locals. The workers in the tea garden first came across this long slithering reptile in here. Soon news of this long snake spread all around and more locals gathered to watch it. The snake rescuers were called in to save the reptile. Binod ‘Dulu’ Borah, a snake rescuer, reached the spot and caught the cobra. Images of the magnificent snake were shared on Twitter and they are going viral.
People tend to get too scared and often throw stones and kill the reptiles but thankfully, as much as there was panic, they called in a snake rescuer to take away the cobra. The snake was released into the Suwang Reserve Forest nearby. The venomous snake looks magnificent but people on social media could not ignore its beauty too. Last year, a 17-foot-long King Cobra was rescued from Odisha's Mayurbhanj district. Here too the forest officials were called in and the snake was released into the nearby jungle. A sight of such long snakes can definitely cause panic. But thankfully, the rescuers arrived in time and took the venomous snake away at both these instances.
