British lawmakers will debate the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, or ‘Right to Die’ bill aiming to legalise assisted dying for terminally ill people in England and Wales with less than six months to live. The proposed law would allow patients to choose to end their lives under strict safeguards, including assessments by two doctors and a High Court judge.
