National Pit Bull Awareness Day is observed on Oct 26 is to appreciate and educate people on the perceptions and stereotypes about bully breed dogs referred to as pit bulls. It was established to promote positive communications in communities about the dog. National Pit Bull Awareness Day is an initiative to restore the image of the breed.
