Met Gala 2022 will take place on Monday 2 May in New York City. After the 2020 Met Gala was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Costume Institute announced a two-part version for 2021 and 2022. This year's them for the mega event is "In America: An Anthology of Fashion".
